DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Processing, Vancouver Downtown Branch
POSITION: Administrative Assistant – Contract Position
REPORTING TO: Manager – Processing & Policy Systems
Job Accountabilities:
- Back Up to reception
- Primary contact for all administrative / clerical duties to ensure an efficient and organized environment.
- Assist Exec/management on projects where required
Qualifications Required:
- Knowledge of Insurance terms and processes would be an asset
- General Insurance Industry or relevant experience would be an asset
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Enthusiastic, energetic self-starter requiring minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills to effectively function in a team environment
- Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
- Demonstrates solid decision making and problem solving, with ability to follow established policies, procedures and processes
