The Peel Mutual Insurance Company (PMI), established in 1876, is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor who reports directly to the Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer.

The successful person will be responsible for the day to day operations and staff of the Finance and Accounting Department. They will be highly proficient in all aspects of accounting and financial management practices/systems and be extremely attentive to detail.
Candidates will possess exemplary leadership, communication and organizational skills. As an enthusiastic and forward thinker, they will challenge the status quo and promote a team atmosphere that strives for continuous improvement and a positive working environment.
Applicants should preferably have or be enrolled in a professional accounting designation and/or university degree with a relevant discipline and a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience. It would be an asset to have insurance accounting related experience and a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
