Job Summary:
Responsible for conducting commercial lines surveys, relating to fire, general/product liability, completed operations, C.O.C. and crime coverages for industrial, commercial, and institutional risks.  Fleet surveys are also conducted Risk evaluation data is gathered in both a physical survey of the account and an interview with senior management personnel of the company.  The focus is on larger, more complex & risk managed accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

·        Analysis of data is analyzed and researched is required if necessary to determine the level of compliance with various government industry and insurance standards and regulations.

·        Responsible for working closely with the Risk Manager of the account in creating loss prevention & risk management programs.

·        Prepare comprehensive reports for underwriters, detailing such things as building construction; occupancies; sprinkler systems; common and special hazards; operating and maintenance procedures; fire detection systems; suppressions systems; burglary systems; safety procedures; quality control; fleet loss control programs, driver hiring, driver monitoring, etc, and an overall risk evaluation.

·        Responsible for assisting selected clients in developing and implement comprehensive loss prevention/risk management programs and providing guidance in such areas as: fleet safety, fire protection and prevention, etc.

·        Deliver seminars to clients in addition to loss control technical bulletins to assist clients with risk management.


Experience/Skills Preferred

  • 8-10 years experience in Risk Management and/or Loss Control
  • Experienced inspecting property, casualty & automobile risks
  • Ability to develop appropriate solutions
  • Strong organization & time management skills
  • Must have the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Experienced in offer risk management solutions
  • Ability to build and maintain good relationships with insureds, brokers and underwriters.
