We are currently looking to add a full time New Business Account Administrator to our Independent Business Team (IBT) which is part of our Commercial Department. The successful candidate must have a strong aptitude for administrative work and is keen and interested in learning and understanding the Commercial sales Cycle. Processing must be completed quickly and efficiently with a high level of accuracy. This a career path role for those who want to move into a New Business role within the IBT or Corporate Sales 

As the IBT New Business Account Administrator your duties will include but won’t be limited to:

·         Support the reactive new business team in all manners

·         Market New Business with insurance companies

·         Process New Business policies including renewals and endorsements

·         Communicate with Underwriters

·         Custom form work in EPIC

·         Following up with clients to ensure all file information is up-to-date

·         Taking client payments

·         Following up with clients as necessary to ensure all documents or other items are current and up-to-date

·         Process in-house renewals and endorsements

·         Issue certificates of Insurance

·         Bond administration

·         Incoming SOV distribution

·         Strong organizational skills

·         Good time management 

·         Excellent attention to detail

·         A minimum of 3 years in the insurance industry

·         Fully proficient the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

·         Fully computer literate

·         A strong knowledge and understanding of our Commercial Clients would be considered an asset

·         CAIB/CIP designation or working towards obtaining designation would be considered an asset
